The Embassy of Uganda in Bujumbura bade farewell to Brigadier General (Rtd) Grace Agaba, the outgoing Defence Attaché (DA) and received Brigadier General Simon Nicholas Ocan, as his successor.

In a function that was held at the Embassy Chancery the outgoing DA thanked H.E.  Ambassador Major General (Rtd) Matayo Kyaligonza, and the Mission staff, for the support rendered during his tour of duty and wished the new DA a successful endeavour. He highlighted the Mission's achievements in the area of regional peace and security.

The outgoing DA was later hosted to a farewell  dinner at Hotel Club Du lac on the shores of Lake Tanganyika.
